Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry welcomed new doctors to the public health leadership team on Wednesday, including former Alberta chief medical officer Dr. Deena Hinshaw. Hinshaw, who was the face of Alberta’s COVID-19 response and was removed from her previous position, is on a six-month contract with B.C.
